It's the right length. Are you sure you have the correct pinion angle at ride height?Originally posted by DirtRacer317 View Post2010 Smackdown The 5th arm shock that is on the car is a ohlins stj the body from shock eye to the end of the shock body nut is 12 1/2". Thanks for the help Matt . This is Dustin's dad the 65s car. We have the car apart checking things out. Dustin got some air time in the heat race. The car had no forward bite off the corner in the feature . We are going to scale the car Thursday night and will check the pinion angle at ride height .

Ha ha! Why am I helping you? :-) Dustin said he thought you all might have had a bent 5th coil shock shaft. As far as the "on the top of the track" feeling: We were all feeling that. The track got slick REALLY fast during our feature and I'm not sure somebody didn't run through the berm and dirty it up on about lap 17 through 1 and 2. My car just started skating through 1 and 2 for no apparent reason. Godsey said he experienced the same thing so it wasn't just me.Originally posted by DirtRacer317 View PostThanks for the help Matt . This is Dustin's dad the 65s car. Hope you find the problem. We're fighting fuel issues. Fuel pump and regulator replaced hoping we've got it fixed.
