Drive Shaft Length

have '06 rocket with a bert transmission, 39" drive shaft, 7" yoke, have 3 1/4" inside trans 1 3/4" out this doesn't seem right do I need a shorter drive shaft and if so how much yoke needs to be inside trani have had trouble with drive shaft rubbing the seal thanks any help would be appreciated.

U want about 3 1/2 - 4 inches out of the tranny. The measurements u have given is only a 5 inch yoke def need 7 inches of yoke.

How are you messuring drive shaft to get 39inches?

When LR drives under and lifts yoke slides into tranny if memory serves. Jack up just in front of LR and check. This could cause handling issues as well if bottoming out. Been outta game few yrs so memory not as sharp

If I'm not mistaken it is 38" for standard Bert, 38-1/2" for a ballspline (a 38" will work), and 35-1/2" for a Brinn
