    Winterizing

Which is the best way to go about winterizing a E85 Carb?

Put snow shovel in back of truck. Drive south until someone asks what it is. Go south one more day. No winter.

that is a great response 95---wish we could all do that

      but realistically eskew,
drain the carb completely (make sure you pump out the accelerator pumps)
then fill it with a oily mixture of gasoline using marvel mystery oil or gibbs carb defender and make sure you pump it through the accelerator pumps.
you can also use straight WD40

caution when filling----fill it slowly through the vent tubes----filling to quickly with a squeeze bottle cam damgage the floats

make sure you lube your throttle shafts with a spray lubricant that does NOT contain teflon----this should be a part of your weekly maintenance
