Running on tacky high banked 1/4 milers. Can somebody post me some wheel weights and % Left and Rear? Fighting an on power push on exit. I'm just curious as to what everybody else thinks is close on wheel weights for a 2300lb class. 375 to 325 RF helped a ton for what it's worth. I don't want to get into bars and J bar discussion. Just see what everybody has for wheel weights. Thanks.

Most of them are around 54.5 and Front and 53.5 -54.5 rear depending on motor comb Wheel Weights are bite dependent. Some are high bite like 180 on those cars some are 80-130. Depends on LR drop too because it can add roll steer.... the one i'm working on now is 130 bite 54.8 left 54 rear

You cannot change left percent or rear percent with ride height. You must move weight.Originally posted by mopar92 View PostIf I put the ride heights where they are supposed to be , I wind up with 56.7% left side. Seems way heavy on the left side. With a crate, and me in the car, the RF is 420lbs. With 80lbs of bite in the car. Seems quite a bit light on the RF.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Sounds weird check and make sure your rear end is in the right place and center your fuel cell. Unless the driver is like 250lbs or more. keep in mind crates do run a little bit more LS and Rear. Other then that the smack is still a very nice car to work with

Just a little input . Static weight doesn't matter as much as use to . Car is never on ride height during the race. more importantly is where your weight moves to and how fast. The old way with a a stick and a ruler have past. you can have 160 lb left rear but if your car doesn't get on bars or transfer much weight to right side your car will feel different then one that does. Not sure that makes sense but have to think more about yaw in the car.
