    front end settings

Stupid question but I've been running the front end settings that was set by the manufacturer but could it be to much for a crate car. That being said caster is more my question can to much of it bind a car .

There are a handful of setup things that you should consider doing differently for a crate car versus an open car. But I don't think front end geometry is necessarily high the list if even on the list at all.

It's often said that caster is a driver "feel" thing. There's a lot more to it than that and you can play around with it to see what works best for you. I burned the better part of last season on experimenting in this area so I'm not prepared to give up everything I learned from it on here.
I'll give you one tip though: if you change your caster, be sure to reset your bump steer.
