Winter 8 inch ring gear 4/11 gear oil level

Just got a new winter 8 inch ring gear 4.11 rearend and was wandering which hole do you use to check oil level in. The small one on the right side of bell infront of tube or the big inspection hole on right side of bell behide tube and do I fill it up till it come out. I'm filling it up with a remote fill canister on back of rearend on top of where the quick change gears go. Thanks.

Never dealt with 8" but is it different than standard at 3 qts.?

I use 4 qts in mine. I just check through the large port on the right rear of the bell. But I don't remember it running out. I believe it's about a 1/4 inch from running out the large port.
