602 water temp?

    602 water temp?

    This is my first year with a 602 in a mod. What water temps are people running a 602 typically at?

      210 to 225 is common but higher than we like
      We target our temps at 180 to 200

      In my opinion when they hit 230 --damage begins
      I don't go into panic mode at 230 but I would do something to pull it down next week

      250 is definitely time to head to the pits and a bucket of water

          Thank you Brad. I was between 200 and 210 on a very hot day. I just wasn't sure where people were at. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge.
