Dirt nose question

I always dread fitting a new nose.My question is when you guys are putting one on,do you do you fit it and assemble it on the car or assemble it on the floor and then put it on the car?(we are using an MD3)

We usually put the 2 centers together and put it on the car then fit the fender flares to the nose on the car.
