I had a cracked fuel fitting. Coming out of my cell on the inside of the 90 degree. Caused the motor to cut out just like that at end of straight. Took me director to find it was a very small crash but just enough.

What is your fuel pressure @ end of straight?
Have you double checked to see if fuel filter is in correct direction?
I think there should be lifeguards in the genepool.

get a wide band afr guage. it will help you determine fuel related issues vs ignition/ mechanical. most likely sounds like a fuel delivery problem.

Dead head or return line fuel system? How much pressure are you running? Timing ? Fuel type and where do you buy it?

could be fuel issue, had a problem like this ,complained about car hit a governor 3/4 way down straight, tried valve springs ,carbs, fuel pumps, ended up being the hei distributor , it didn't break up just layed down, got it fixed and felt like I got 100 hp back, check plugs ours showed rich, fuel should show lean.
