LR shock on top of axle tube.

I have seen bob pierce do this for a couple of years now. And I recently seen this done on bloomquists car. Was just curious on what this does exactly and what valveings the shock needs to be?

Basically, it linearizes the force from the shock to wheel travel. I ran one a few years ago and kinda valved it between a front shock and a rear shock.

There were other reasons, but it was specific to my application and not something I want to get into. LOL

Generates a direct relationship between wheel travel and shock travel. Easier to control wheel travel than wheel travel + indexing............among other things.
