I recently purchased a dirt late model with Ohlin shocks. 4 shocks on car are LMJ series and a shock that came in a bin of parts that is a non canister with the markings 121655 STJ 23801 on it. Have not been able to find any info on it. Any help is appreciated.

7 inch or 9 inch shock. Is there not a 5th coil shock on your car? Like Brian said, you need it dyno'd to know what you have and then figure out what it is good for. Give it the old hand and shop floor dyno test first. If it is really stiff compression with pretty easy rebound, it could be something they were using in front of the LR birdcage in certain track conditions if it is a 9 inch shock.Comment
