Heavy RR to tighten up car?

I was speaking with the setup guy for my chassis, and he said now they are using a heavier rr to tighten up the car. How does this work or are they having to tighten up everywhere else to make it work?

Most likely they are talking about the rr spring. In that case, that causes more weight transfer to that corner, under deceleration (off the gas).

In general, a stiffer RR spring will make you tighter on entry and looser on exit. Dynamic de-wedging.

A heavier RR spring tightens entry handling.... when on the gas! Adds side bite/rr traction thru the apex and out.

When I called rocket, their main setup guy says different. He said heavier spring to tighten it up through the turn on the gas. Hasn’t worked for me.
