What are the width measurements for gen x birdcages

What do you mean by width? You can probably find a measurement for how far from the inside the rotor the shock mount/s are supposed to be, as well as the top "ear" for the upper link. Bottom link seems to be somewhat dependent on the location of the shock mount (as it bolts to the same ear, or in between on a double shear.

^^^ That's out of the set-up book they had for those cars. I asked Tader once about the alignment of the LR links, and he said the inside of the top ear of the LR birdcage should be 4 1/4" from the inside of the rotor. Then there's obviously a small spacer that goes in between the birdcage and link.
