    LRF/Traction Shock location?

Seen a glimps of a photo from the Dome and noticed the LRF shock was attached to the top of the birdcage. What’s the pros and cons of this? It’s gotta be hell on the shaft when it indexes!

Are you sure it wasn't mounted to the top of the axle tube, next to the birdcage? I believe Pierce cars are that way. I would think that location would be more consistent, less vulnerable to changes in indexing, link lengths/angles, etc. I could be wrong, but I'm sure Bob doesn't do it that way just to be different.
