Air Cleaner Base

What is the best air cleaner base on the current market for hp and torque? Walker or R2C?

I thought R2C went out of business, but I see they're back.

I did some research way back when and I didn't find they officially went out of business but instead possibly unofficially ceased at least some operations to fight a legal battle for copy right infringement. I didn't find anything else or even persue anything more than that as it satisfied what I was looking for at the time.

That said it seems they have a good product on the market right now. I use the Napa Gold Paper filters because I get a good deal on those locally. I also use the Moroso Top and Bottom with a 2" filter spacer to help the air straighten out some before entering the carburetor.

I just watched an old engine masters testing air filters the straighter they made the air entering the carpet the more HP they made .they even took a salad bowl and made an air cleaner pretty interesting.
