intead of buying a 16" uht spring for the lr could i just use a 2 inche spacer with a 14" uht spring (which i have a number of them) have the same effect on the lr as having a 16" on the lr? thank you

You could forget the spacer and run the adjustment nut down further, unless you run out of thread. It all depends on the spring rate and loads needed. A 150# spring will be compressed 4 to 5" at ride height, depending on chassis. If you want 150# extended load, it's still compressed 1".
