Left Rear Shock Placement

Was intrested in opinions regarding the placement of the left rear shock. In front or behind the axel. New to Late Models, and need advice. Thanks ahead of time.

clamped up in front after you get some laps under you then go to the behind set up as it's a little harder to drive. booth work pretty well.
