rack question

if a chassis is built for say a 19.5 width rack would there be any advantage to using a wider or narrower rack? has anyone tried this before? thanks in advance for the info

No, to the best of my knowledge.... your bump steer will be all over the place with suspension travel. ....Engineers do things for a reason!
