Pretty sure they are just riveting the valence over the top of the nose instead of underneath... for some reason

Seems like it is mostly Longhorn cars doing it.

Last body i did, i done it this way, you just have to cut off a bit of it that sticks up over the upturn.

Its easy, looks great on the track with all the contrast, helped me see the front of the car.
