According to newest Lucas rules I can find, it isn't. Suspension section says no titanium fasteners.

Where is this ad? Blatant rule breaking if they are in fact running them

https://panchosracingproducts.com/ has them on the front page...... unbelievable. Rule book clearly states No titanium chassis or suspension components and No titanium fasteners. Cheatin s$$holes driving up the cost of the sport for no reason

Yeah. It's around 55% the weight of equivalent steel. And, it's notch sensitive, so you won't get away with incorrectly putting threads in the shear plane, like you can with steel. It helps, but it's not cheap. It better imo to machine bolt heads to min height and to drill them, if you have the equipment.

I do like titanium lug nuts because aluminum ones are trash.

I have seen some hollow titanium bolts that are 40% the weight of steel, not sure of the strength though!

Price was pretty economical without even getting into bulk buying!

Ti6-4 is similar tensile strength to grade 5 steel. However, fatigue is reduced, especially if threads are cut vs rolled.
