It looks to me to be real close to a 1st gen Bert that is black.
It looks like a thermal dispersant coating.
I don't think it's anything earth-shattering here.
Probably aimed more toward the mod market.

Maybe not, but after talking to them, they will have some earth shattering news in the spring 2022!
