Always had an idea to put a small adj valve on each corner.

Sounds like over thinking! Put ball valve in brake line. Hide valve or just play by rules stated and turn on when need 4 wheel and off without foot on brake to 3 wheel

I have put a pop rivet nail in caliper line fitting and put line back on , this worked well , but I guess if they make you jack it up on rt frt to see if break works , your screwed

If you need to hide it from tech that's actually going to look, you need to come up with a way.

this is true , if they jack it up to ck brake then look close for a on and off device , you are not gone beat them , the smaller orifice along with a glazed over pad is probably best ides so far ....
