    Shock Mount Location

I noticed a few of the cars have the left rear shock mount low on the birdcage. What are they trying to achieve?

It makes the distance the shock mount travels greater for a given birdcage rotation. So, essentially, it alters the wheel rate.

Hard to say why they are doing it. First guy had a reason, the rest just piled on.
