So sitting here thinking since was brought to attention by chassis builder. He put on a progressive LF, but I feel a progressive only best on right side cause have smash numbers to back spring info, although spring never hits same spot each corner consistently lap after lap likely. I feel a split spring be better on left sides because the repeatability more likely and also the gainpf different spring rates that a progressive couldn't simulate. Albeit I think time and place for everything and corner as feel lr should be just single barrel spring always. What's others thoughts?

A dual rate has that nasty inflection point where the rate changes. That point has to be carefully selected where the sudden frequency change doesn't cause an issue. I think anytime you are looking to consistently hit a travel number, to make the car more consistent, you should be loading something with a progressive loading curve. It won't unload with a lot of displacement and the final compression travel will be more consistent.Modern Day Spec Wedge Racing

Then only reason I would use a progressive spring over a stack would be because of a rule that you had no choice but to use a progressive to get a multi rate.
With a progressive spring you are stuck with where in the springs travel it changes rate where you can control where that happens with a stack combo. So unless that progressive spring works out perfectly that when the spring is compressed 3" from free height and changes rate is where you need it to happen. This rarely works out especially a corner that has a lot of compression of the spring at ride height like a LR or RF.
