    engines?

So, this is completely out of curiosity...considering that most of us on here are stereotypical "Saturday night racers", and not ultra high dollar operations, I know that most of us can't afford $25,000 432 Cornett engines...so, I'm curious what most of us are running for engines at our local tracks..feel free to be as vague or specific as you like..
For instance, I am running a 14:1 steel block, wet sump 377 (4.155x3.48)with ported Brodix -10 heads.
I know it won't keep up with the front runners at my track on a tacky night, but I am a second year LM driver, and I wanted to be conservative for a first engine until I really know what I'm doing..

When we first got a DLM, we took our Super Stock engine and ran it...377" Dart 230 head, roller cam wet sump deal. Then we bought a used 422" SB2.2 Hendren's Engine and have ran it ever since in our CA series and local races...

all of our tracks around here are "limited" lm classes. basically an 11:1 steel headed motor or crate. unless you run the SLMR, NCRA, MLRA touring stuff
