I have an older chassis and am thinking about trying to make the car more rigid. Where is the best location to add some bars for rigidity? Also, would moving the right side upper control arm mounts back help with geometry or handling through the corners?

Can't really get to in depth without seeing said chassis.
2 mayor area's cars have been flexible or weak at in years past are:
1. Rear of cars without underslings as many of them you can sit on jack stands and stand on rear bumper and watch them bow down quite a fair amount so much you can see the main hoop get pulled backwards by the 2 rear down bars. Added undersling bars will strengthen that up quite a bit and stop the rear shock mounts from moving around.
2. The front upper rails which have the upper shock mounts and upper control arm mounts: many times you can tell how bad this is by removing a bolt from the engine bar between the 2 shock mounts and see how it aligns on jack stands vs on ground with spring load on them. If they are quite a bit different between to 2, then that leads you to they are flexing that much under very light load and are probably moving a bunch under racing loads. The engine bar just makes them both move together. While crude, it can tell you a few things and make educated guesses on things.
Other things like torsional rate and etc are hard to say anything about without seeing what your dealing with.

I've got a 2015 MasterSbilt. I underslung the rear, added a vertical bar from the RF halo area down to the 5th/6th coil upper bar, and added two bars where the right header comes over the frame rail (continuing the angled down bar from the engine plate bar to the frame, then a second angled up from the frame to the bay bar just behind the RF control arm tower).
Not sure if any of it has helped, but I like cutting and welding stuff, so it at least makes me feel better about it.

We had a 2016 Gen X plus. Did the same things you did plus we added the X in the front of the radiator and I also ran a piece of 1 1/2 tube from the dash bar where it attaches to the down tube on the left side and angled it toward the LF shock mount.
