Is 16an sufficient for a top radiator hose on a super late engine or should it be 20an?

I use a -16. I look at it as a bit of a restrictor, as well. My engine seems to run cool, so unless it's really hot out (90* +), I aso block the bottom 4" of the radiator off -
AN 16 is only 1" ID on hose and a 20 is 1 1/4, typically your radiator has a 1.5" hose when its a slip on hose so . . . .Comment
