Driveshaft angle question

dropped engine in today..

Driveshaft is angled uphill from rear end ..I realize pinion angle should start around 7* down according to my setup sheet but what is an acceptable uphill angle for driveshaft leading from rear to transmission?

The angle is a combined angle, not just the angle of the differential downward. Let's say the drive shaft is angled down to the differential at 3 degrees. Then you would want the pinnion angled down 4 degrees for a TOTAL angle of 7 degrees.
