Torque Arm Locator

We have two MasterSbilts that we bought as used rollers, (09 from mars and 08 smack) both came with the long bar making a triangle back to the rearend to hold the torque arm in line with the rearend. Besides the extra weight of the long bar versus the short little one going the the frame, are there any disadvantages to this setup? Anyone ever had problems with this type ?

They MAY be some binding and the fifth coilover MAY interfere with the drive shaft. It works if not interfering with drive shaft, don't sweat it.

I prefer this type of side brace actually.
