what would moving the left birdcage in on the axle tube cause? i know it stands the shock up more and makes the bars a little straighter. but would this help the car produce more forward drive off?

here is what we did. we stood the LR shock up by utilizing a further outboard shock mount and we also moved the birdcage in. so instead of the LR behind shock being laid over about 20* it is now probably at near vertical but still in at the top. we also have our gas shock in the front to help with the forward drive because we havent had any rain and they cant seem to put enough water on during the week to keep it from going dry slick.

Seems extreme."Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back."

well turned out to be exactly what the car wanted. i would have finshed second in my heat if i wouldnt have made the mistake of driving right into the rut in turn one and i got passed by 3 cars in one corner
