what do they change on the cars to make the wide rf update? And does it help the car handle any better?

its not just a wide right front the rear is different as well. sorry i don't have mor info but i do have a set of the spindles ordered and gonna see how that works next year on both a blue and black frame.

I think you're asking about the wide RF that has been around for a couple years, not the orange front. If so you can order a kit that has bungs that get welded in right next to the existing ones. Also it has spacers for the upper A-frame. Ours came with an upper shock mount to move the shock out, but we never used the outer hole so it was a waste of time putting it on.

In addition to the chassis updates you will need to order the rack eye with two holes. As far as the difference in handling goes with the RF out its like the car steers more dominantly off the RF.
