What was GRT's thought behind the floated X? Is this supposed to tighten?/loosen?/what does it do to the car? ~Thanks~

The more the car flexes to a point, the bigger the sweet spot. It won't be the fastest car but it will be very consistant. Rayburn is a good example. Look at Rocket and some others. They have to sell chassis. The way to do that is to have the car work well with any bone head behind the wheel.

I have just bought a 05 GRT that has the floating X. I have not heard of this, what was GRT's purpose for doing this?
~Thanks~
u may want to call GRT and have them check the car number....they only did the floating x on cars from 97-99 and very few cars in 2000...thats straight from joe garrisons mouth

Will some one take a pic of the bar running from the middle of the X up to the square tube you mount your 5th coil to and post them somewhere so I can see what they look like, my friend noticed something about mine and I wanna see if there is anymore like mine or if it's just where mine was a house car. ThanksIf your not sideways and all jacked up you must be playing following the leader...
