Late model quickchange question???/

Im wondering how to tell if my rear has a ratchet or full spool without tearing it apart,the car acts like it one tire fire for a couple laps then all at once it gets a ton of bit and starts
wheeling up,ive tried spinning one tire in the air and they both turn,so i pulled the axles and it looks like there is a set of splines for each axle i would think that a full spool would
have splines from side to side,just trying to figure out whats wrong with car,thanks in advance,

If im not mistaken the tech officials at my local track would mark the tires across from each other in the same spot like a line at "12:00" on both tires before hot laps and then check them again after hotlaps and in theory they should still be in that same position assuming the tire didn't spin on the wheel. Could be wrong though.

like restad said. Mark tire at the bottom on both sides, Drive in circle check marks.
