300 spring, straight 3 valve shock (thinking of changing this to a 3-7). It's at 36" now, but I run it at 34" on 3/8 or shorter tracks.Crew Chief "Tip of the day":
Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

were the same as joe, but we run at 34'' all the time. we ran a 3-7 for a short while and i didnt care for it as i felt 7 was to much rebound. if we would have had a 3-5 that wasnt already being used on the car i might have tried it. we just stuck the straight 3 back on and never touch it.

I stayed the same. As long as I am getting a decent amount of travel, I am fine with keeping the same spring.Crew Chief "Tip of the day":

We normally keep it at 34"...On a big 1/2 mile we do move it out farther..We went to a straight 5 valve wand we run a 325 or 300 spring depending...

we start the night on a 3 on rebound and change to a 5 rebound once the track blows off. If it goes absolutely dead slick and I mean lock down on the bottom of the track we'll go to a 7 but that's very minimal.
