Mastersbilt Axle tube lengths

Does anyone know what the axle tube length is for the right side on a 2008 car. The axle is 35 inches.

I'm pretty sure the tube length ends up being the axle length minus 6" but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Just measured a brand new tube for my 35" axle on my mastersbilts. Total overall length is 29-1/4 inches
