Swing Arm Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 2007 overrail CJ Rayburn combo car, I have never ran a swing arm car, and everyone is telling me I should run this car on swing arm, so Im going to try it, first of all, Im am very lost on a swing arm set up, from shocks, springs, to really everything. If I run a pull bar, should I still run the 5th and 6th coil, should I run the left side on 4 bar, and right side swing, or what, any info would greatly be appreciated! thanks!

Rf-450 to 375 depending on track conditions
LR-250 to 175 depending on track conditions
RR-600 to 900 depending on track conditions

put a J-bar in it with about 9 inches of split in it between the two mounting points, start at pinion height

Make sure you run the pull bar

We like to start with about 100 to 150 LBs of wedge, and try to get the left side to about 54% to 53.5.

Drive it like you stole it. Remember the LR and RF springs go down in rate as the track gets slower and slicker, and the RR goes up as you need side bite.

I would probably go to the z link on the rr if you have the shock mount for it. You may even try the rr 4 linked for better sidebite.

When using a pullbar, use the 6th coil and no 5th coil.

You can use any brand of shocks if they are valved correctly. The cheap old Konis from CJ are tough to beat.

So does a 4 bar on rr give more side bite than z link ?

It just indexes the spring like a four bar would. So yes it does promote more side bite.
