    Wide 5 lug nuts..

    How much torque or you using when tighten the wheels???

    I torque mine to 100
    Crew Chief "Tip of the day":
    Most handling problems can be solved by adjusting the screw-ball. It can be difficult to fine tune at times. Explaining yourself loudly and striking it on top of the helmet with a dead blow hammer usually works well.

        110 max. especially if you run the hubs with the gundrilled studs.

          Alum or steel nuts?

          I run aluminum and torque them to 65#, can't say it's right or wrong, but I've never had them loosen up or lost a wheel.

                Alum. lugnuts was what i should have asked though duhhhh....
                Talked to a late model guy today and he siad he did his around 80; but also siad he replaces his lugnuts after 5-6 races....
