    MasterSbilt updates

We are getting our car updated from the 4-hole 4-bar brackets to the 7-hole (I think). My question is does this change the size of the heim ends used for the 4-bars themselves? The cars I have seen with the 7-hole look like they have smaller holes than our 4-hole stuff.

You do not need to change your heim ends. You will however have to put reducer bushings in the to go to 1/2" bolts. The chassis plates have more holes and they are closer together so the builder has to make the holes smaller.

Make sure when you go to the 1/2" fasteners that you are using grade 8. You can get by with the 11/16"/ 3/4" stuff in double shear with grade 5 but IMO 1/2" or smaller you really need to have grade 8.
