Clamp bracket

What's the take on mounting LR front shock on a clamp instead of birdcage? This would be in slick conditions. Would it make the car too tight to turn while on the gas? Looking for more forward just don't want to hang myself thru the center or getting in. Any comments appreciated. Thanks

We clamped the lr front shock one night when we broke our birdcage mount and that was with a gas shock in front and it made it throttle push right through the wall until it got really really slick. Then it was ok.

So in short we only used it one time and it only worked ok for about the last 7-10 laps or so.
