RF problems

2002 Black rocket. 500lf 400rf 275lr 200rr. Steel block. The RF shock keeps bottoming out and car pushes. Ive asked some other guys and they all say run a 325 on the rf to keep the car up on the bars. Obviously if I'm bottoming out a 400 spring out anything softer it's out of the question. Should I run a dual rf spring?

id check to make 100% sure that front ride heights are right if wrong and roll centers too far left could make it bury rf when others are getting away with softer springs becuz there roll center is farther right.....if thats correct id think bout running a bump stop in rf....with bumpers u can run as soft as youd ever want and never bottom out

Shocks were brand new 3 nights ago

If I had to guess its probably the roll centers bc the car is actually a '93 with 2002 "updates" but I'm starting to think that may have a lot to do with some of the problems I've been having

with the car sitting at ride height measure best you can/estimate how far your shock can travel before it bottoms out. i wonder if your rf chassis shock mount is welded on too low since its a older car. also i know this sounds dumb but ive seen it happen you made sure it was a 7"travel shock and not accidently a 9" shock on rf right? your lr spring is a little stiff also not sure if that has much to do w it.

If the car is actually a 93, sell it to a museum or scrap it. You wouldn't believe how rusty the tubing is inside!!!

Left side weight was 53-54%

I actually picked up an actual 2002 frame before the season started and was going to build another roller but now I'm just going to take a few weeks off and swap everything and see if we can get this thing figured out. The shock mount are lower on the old car compared to the new car.
