Hey We just bought a whole crate of quichchange gears but they were all rusted and old, we were just wondering if thee was someone who polishes them or has a shaker machine to clean them.
Thanks
Garrett
IF they are rusting they are damaged, Rust is the removal of metal from the main piece. You are correct looking at a tumble process BUT it will bump them together and damage the edges of the gears. You will need to find someone to soda blast or walnut blast them to ONLY remove the rust and not do any more damage to the surface. You may be able to contact some of the metal processing companies around you. If after you get them cleaned you can see damage with your eye I would put them into the scrap bucket. It's not worth it to save $65 and bust a tooth off from a stress riser and kill the rear.
