Bert transmission question

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between a Bert or Brinn transmission in a dirt late model late model and an open wheel modified race car?

The transmissions used in a late model and a typical modified are the same. A brinn and a bert are not the same and require different length drive shafts.

I know that a Bert and a Brinn are not the same. The question was really about whether either one of them would work for a dirt late model if they came from a modified. Anyway, thanks for the input.
