    Bert Second Gen

I'm looking for an exploded parts view of the second gen transmission with part numbers and all but I can't find one anywhere. Any help would be great. Thanks!

I don't need anything in particular. Just wanting the see the inside of one before I get my hands on one. I'm very familiar with the first gen Berts and we've always rebuilt our own with no problems. I'm just wondering how much different the second gens are on the inside.

I figured as much. I really want to see how that shifter works and I'm sure it isn't easy to explain. I guess I'm just gonna have to buy one and take it apart :-)

We had one and went through a few cases before they figured the piston/bore problems but once we got that straitened out it worked perfect and we did the case swaps in house with no help very simple ordeal one big difference is the use of a automatic transmission band instead of a clutch pack

i just went through my 2nd gen a few weeks ago and it was unbelievably easy.. really there is nothing there, just a few gears, a chain for reverse and a band that works as a clutch, just remember to have it in low gear when you take it apart.. beyond easy
