wheel spacers?

Saw a few guys (Front runners) running wheel spacers on LR last night...I thought these had gone away with the days of Leaf springs...do the same principles apply? With all of the adjustment available on a four bar car, I didn't think something like that would prove useful...

Yes.... doesnt matter what type of car, same affect

A lot of guys will throw this on if the track seems to really slick off right before the feature and they don't have time make a bar adjustment of some sort.
