The new car I bought does not have one but the wiring harness has a weather pack connector that went to one. Do I need the 6ALN or can use just the 6AL? I'm not much on the electronics so excuse my ignorance. My last car had the big gold 7AL box but I never had any issues so I never really had to learn too much about it. Thanks in advance for any information. John 1*

All the 6 ALN is, is a seals ignition with the weather pack connector for NASCAR rules and weather resistant connections. The 6AL will go right in and the wires can connect without the connector OR you can get the connector at many auto parts stores and put it in yourself on the 6AL. Use GOOD weather proof connectors, like butt splice connectors that heat shrink into the wire.
