    Bell housing ?

I've been told that a stock GM bell housing will work on a Brinn type tranny. I know billet is better and the cast ones break easier, but I can weld cast and can't afford $600 for a bell housing right now. Is this correct or do you have to buy a bell specific to the tranny? Thanks.

I would also try to run a rear support, the factory bell was never meant to hold up the weight of the transmission.
