Ok, running a steel block steel head JR motorsports 377 and race on mostly 3/8s pretty good banking tracks.What is a good starting gear,only want to turn about 8000rpms.Thank you

We run 7600 and usually go with 5.97 or so on 3/8. Mind if I ask what you are up against?

I run a 6;31 w/ a 358 all steel

We are racing ump super lates,were a little under powered but here in michigan tracks get pretty dry slick.

Great! That is similar to what we do here in Ohio/ Western PA. Aluminum head steel block 377.
