05 Rocket blue question

Is there a standard setting for the tie rods on the spindle. Rocket gray spindles have 2 sets of holes for the tie rods to bolt to. I was looking at the front end of a car the other night and noticed that one tie rod was in the front set of holes and the other side was in the back set of holes? What is standard and what does everyone seem to like? Thanks for the help.

I believe the blue front uses the rear holes on the spindles.
