    HELP lr clamp or unclamp

    its a 4 bar 4bar lift bar pierce chassis coming out of the corner the car doesnt have forward drive and will not stay on the bottom not much side bite i have thought about changing to a short bar instead the j bar but also have the option to clamp the lr rear just the spring and shock to the axle any input would be appreciated also i have one hole left to go lower with the j bar on the pinion will that make a big enough difference or do i need to do other changes thanks anyhelp appreciated

    i assume you are clamping the spring and shock in front of axle, we won some races several years ago on a tight turn , slick track with this, but with better shocks , better bird cages and so on , we finaly got away from it, also we stayed on a j bar when clamped. one bad thing about the clamp is its rough on equipment, also it will tighten you getting in conner because of unloading of lft rear

      Sidewinder, what shocks are you running ?
      Advanced shocks have made a WORLD of difference.
      Are you running open or a crate ?
      What springs ?
