Motor question

Just picked up a motor that has been sitting for about 1 1/2- 2 years. They did not back off the rockers. Do i need to change valve springs? Motor only has 6 races since new. I know its only 6 races cause i bought from a friend.

I would change them to be on the safe side, probably wouldn't hurt to pull the oil pan and check things because unless it was stored in a climate controlled environment, it probably has condensation and may have some rust inside. But definitely change the springs
